Brett Spicer and TCSLEA Opposed Collective Bargining for Corrections

Larger group, made up mainly of jailers, is starting a petition drive that smaller patrol officers union opposes. Friday, May 09, 2008 On Saturday, some Travis County sheriff's office employees will launch a campaign to get collective-bargaining power. They will visit polling places seeking petition signatures, the first step toward a November referendum.

Did you know, if you are a Corrections Officer and you are a member of TCSLEA, the FOP will not recognize you as a member.  They will also not represent you in job related matters.  You will have to rely on outside law firms that will represent you for a reduced rate which could cost you thousands of dollars out of your pocket in the end.
